The Fountaindale operates a complete non-smoking policy in the guest house

With the exception of the patio area at the front of the building

The Fountaindale is situated in a quiet street within walking distance to the town and seafront, we are also a short walk from the train and bus station.

We have parking for 7 cars down the side of the building .We regret we are not in a position to reserve one for incoming guests.

We are happy to assist any guest with luggage from their car to their room.

The premises are on two floors, with the guests TV lounge, reception and dining Room all on the ground floor. We also have two ground floor rooms.

Approaching the Fountaindale there is security lighting, giving adequate visibility for guests to locate the door bell and key lock, there is a one inch threshold on entry into the hallway.

The front entrance door is self-locking.

The entrance hallway has a wooden flooring and a safety mat, and two wicker chairs.

Just off of the hallway there is a TV lounge, the dining room, reception area, and the corridor leading to the two ground floor bedrooms, one twin room one double room both en-suite rooms. Also off of the entrance hall is the stairs leading to the first floor bedrooms, this consists of 15 steps, with handrails.

As all rooms have their own en-suite facilities there is no separate WC in the public areas.

Are supplied with Keys for their security & a safe.

All carpets are fitted Short pile with exception to Main entrance Hall, which is a none slip mat.

Ground Floor Bathrooms Have Tiled Floors, with ½’’ step in the Twin Room.

First floor Bathrooms have vinyl flooring

Guest Room Lighting consists of low energy bulbs with touch dimming bedside lamps, & Electric Heating, smoke detectors are also fitted in all rooms.

General info

All public areas have emergency lighting & break glass call points & fire extinguishers in case of Fire

Fire emergency procedures are supplied inside all guest rooms on the back of the door, these consist of nearest fire exits & what to do in case of emergency.

Fire alarm is a bell & anyone with earing difficulties will be told face to face.

We will provide water & eating bowls to guests with service dogs on request.

You are welcome to store any medication in our refrigeration facilities provided it is clearly marked in a suitable container.

Internet access is available in the hotel the code is supplied in the room folders.
